Staged campus upgrade delivering modern, durable and accessible student facilities.
Yalgan Group delivered a staged construction and refurbishment project across multiple amenity areas within the school campus, carefully coordinating works to minimise disruption to daily operations. The scope included the reconfiguration of existing change rooms, refurbishment of clinic facilities, creation of a new clinic space, accessibility upgrades, and the refurbishment of a printing room. Each element was designed to enhance functionality, compliance, and overall student amenity while maintaining the integrity of the surrounding campus environment.
Works within the change room facilities involved substantial demolition, including the removal of the existing roof structure, façade elements, and redundant services. Structural modifications were undertaken to accommodate new window openings, significantly improving natural light and ventilation. The upgrade incorporated a new metal deck roofing system complete with updated gutters and downpipes, resilient flooring finishes, new doors and glazing, rendered and painted internal blockwork, and moisture-resistant ceilings to ensure durability in high-humidity conditions.
The internal fitout included the installation of compliant bench seating, timber rails with integrated coat hooks, upgraded lighting, and modern smoke detection systems, along with comprehensive electrical improvements. Finishes were selected for durability and ease of maintenance, delivering robust, low-maintenance surfaces suited to high-use educational environments. Attention to detail throughout the construction process ensured both aesthetic consistency and long-term performance.
Across the broader scope, the project delivered modernised clinic facilities, a newly constructed clinic space, a compliant accessible toilet, and upgraded internal areas designed to improve circulation and usability. The coordinated works provide enhanced safety, accessibility, and amenity for students and staff, resulting in a cohesive upgrade that strengthens the campus’ operational efficiency and long-term resilience.
